It is located on the eastern side of Lake Garda with its walls and three mighty square towers above the picturesque town with the homonymous name.
The high wall and the three towers offer a panoramic view over the roofs of the old town, the lake garda, and the harbour, looking as far as the coasts of Sirmione and Limone.
The castle houses a very interesting ethnological museum, which narrates about the area and its people: from fishing, to olive oil extraction, to the art of vine cultivation. Although it is the west coast that is most famous for the growing of lemons, since 1760 the eastern shore, near the Castle, has also been home to a splendid lemon garden.

The Vittoriale degli Italiani is easily reachable from Torri del Benaco by taking the ferry to Toscolano Maderno (more information here).
During the 30-minute navigation on Lake Garda, you will have a breathtaking view of the landscapes on the Brescia shore and the Monte Baldo slopes.
Once in Toscolano Maderno, the Vittoriale is just 5 km away.
